Andor: RecSports’ FileMaker Server

FileMaker 21 or Higher is Required

Boba requires FileMaker 21 or higher. Please contact TRECS-help@austin.utexas.edu if you do not have the latest version of FileMaker.  Note, you may have an older version of FileMaker on your computer.  If this is the case, drag the Connect to Andor file on top of the FileMaker 21 (or higher) application icon in the Applications folder.  This will force FileMaker 21 to load the main menu.

On-Campus

If you are on a campus network (including UTEXAS wireless and WGB/ICB buildings), you simply need to load FileMaker 19 with the Connect to Andor file.  The connection to the main menu will be automatic.

Please note if you are using the UT GUEST wifi network, you will not be able to connect to Boba.  You must join the UTEXAS wifi network with your EID and password first.

Off-Site Connections

If you are off-site, you will first need to connect to the University VPN service using “Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client” software on your computer. Please note that when using VPN software, you must login using the EID@recsports format in the login field.  Also, staff must be added to the RecSports VPN realm by IT prior to connecting.  Once you have a connection to the VPN service, you can use the Connect to Andor file to open the main menu.  ContactTRECS-help@austin.utexas.edu or it@utrecsports.org if you need to be added to the RecSports VPN realm for off-site access.
